Dr. Harold Davis' "TALKS" curriculum paints a poignant picture of "real" life issues that our youth need to discuss and learn from.  "TALKS" is especially useful to Cook County Juvenile Court youth due to their somewhat difficult beginnings.  The various topics in the "TALKS" curriculum contribute to continuous dialog between mentor and mentee and assist with build self-confidence in our youth.  I have been privileged to know Dr. Davis and support his "TALKS" Mentoring 100%.  I would encourage anyone who is considering mentoring young people to utilize Dr. Davis' "TALKS" curriculum in an effort to build strong relationships between mentor and mentee.
